I have honestly always loved paper and paper crafting since a young age. I was also a big fan of sending and receiving mail. Especially when I went away to college and was away from friends, family, and my boyfriend (Who is now my husband). I never actually planned to do something like this. Heck, I didn't even know it was possible, but the way things played out in my life brought me to trying to sell some handmade cards years ago on Etsy. Basically, it just grew and took off from there. I wouldn't change a thing! I love being able to create happy mail and send paper hugs (With a fold in the middle) all over the US and even the world.

What makes your brand unique?
C:
I think my brand is a tad bit different from what you may see in the big box stores...I mean, first off, there's my "not so safe for everyone's ears/eyes" language. LOL! But I feel my cards are pretty darn honest and truly reflect life's relationships and occasions.

If you had one piece of advice for someone starting a small business, what would that be?
C:
My one piece of advice for anyone starting a small business would really just be to BELIEVE that you can! Put those positive thoughts into the universe and work hard and just be true to yourself. Not everyone is going to love what you do but when you do find those people...it's awesome! I have loved connecting with customers in the past year or so since being on Instagram.

What are your tips for fellow Mama’s trying to balance it all?
C:
Oh boy! This is difficult to answer, because I am ALWAYS looking for those tips. I am going to be honest and say I do not succeed in the category of balance. But I try my best and just do what I can. I like to repeat to myself from time to time..."You can't do everything", so some days I work more on home life (...Laundry, kids, housework, meal times.) and some days I focus more on my business and we have cereal for dinner! I like to think we are all happy and loved over here in my household, and that's what matters.

What is your favorite product you have created?
C:
This is also a tough question, I usually get pretty giddy about lots of new things that I have created. I would have to say that right now I am loving my decision to start offering Monthly Surprise Packs that feature a new theme every month. I currently offer them to my FB Group of "Paper Huggers" (*Link below!) but I do hope to start offering it through Instagram or in my Etsy shop. I have truly LOVED putting these monthly surprise packs together. Each month I post a sign up and I email you an invoice and towards the end of the month you receive a fun package from me that consists of four brand new card designs centered around that months theme, plus you get envelopes AND Postage Stamps...AND I include some other fun odds and ends (ie: note pad, fun pens, washi tape, coasters, etc.) So far I have done a Birthday theme, Friendship theme, Summer Vibes, and most recently, America! Stay tuned, because August is gonna feature Foul Mouthed Fun!
